Ahh, here's the boring bit. It's actually about me. I am the sole website developer, architect, business analyst, web designer, tester, engineer, marketer and many more. I take on many roles, tripped several times, picked myself up every time. I am the coal-faced founder/owner of Bovieda.com with battle wounds to prove. So please have a little faith in me.
The idea of Bovieda.com came about to me in late 2008 when I wanted a website that does free listings for its members. After much research I discovered almost all websites did not fulfill this one basic requirement. So I say 'what if I come up with a website that does just that?'. And why not? I have over 20 years of software development experience and a passion to connect people to people and people to products and services. So this idea became my contribution to you, the online community. It is with my pride and joy, and after all the sleepless nights, countless days and many many trips to the osteopath, I present to you Bovieda.com.
Or in a nutshell - 'boy did research, boy didn't find anything interesting, boy developed that something interesting, boy delivered that something, boy hopes you will like it, use it, help build further and tell it to your friends'.
What is Bovieda.com and what does it do?
Bovieda.com specializes in all kinds listings - classifieds, learn, teach, talents and soulmates (and more to come). Each of the listing is specifically targeted to certain community. Unlike most websites, we do not charge members for classified, learn, teach, talent and soulmate listings. Yes, you heard right. These listings are FREE OF CHARGE. Members are free to sign up for these listings as long as they agree to the Terms and Conditions of Use outlined in this website. Bovieda.com is available globally but we rely on word of mouth from you to help promote our presence. We (the online community) don't have a sizeable marketing budget like many corporate websites do, but one thing we do have is a network of people with a determination to keep this website free to its members. So I hereby invoke the power of the people to keep Bovieda.com free to its individual members.
I hope one day Bovieda.com will give the corporate websites run for their money. This will be my milestone. I strongly believe no system can withstand economic turmoil alone - no man is an island, so to speak. So I dedicate Bovieda.com to you, the online community, to help further your ideas and contribution.
